Day 142 in the Big Antipodean Adventure

Awesome day surfing, waves not too big but apparently that is better... Need bigger waves.

Plus Dunny from the Shammies then took about 10 of us to Telstra Stadium again to watch the NRL Preliminary Final; Melbourne Storm beating St George Illawarra Dragons 24 to 10. Dunny was not best pleased.

Day 141 in the Big Antipodean Adventure

Went to watch the Sydney Swans play against Freemantle at the Telstra Stadium in the AFL Preliminary Final!

Day 140 in the Big Antipodean Adventure

Action packed weekend coming up starting tonight going to watch the Swans in the GAYFL Preliminary Final at the Telstra Stadium, but then off surfing tomorrow!

Finally after 140 days in the Big Antipodean Adventure I will be hitting the beach. Boardies purchased, max 30 sun cream purchased... I will be like the guy in the video in no time...

Engine On a Chip May Beat the Battery

Now this is cool...

MIT researchers are putting a tiny gas-turbine engine inside a silicon chip about the size of a quarter. The resulting device could run 10 times longer than a battery of the same weight can, powering laptops, cell phones, radios and other electronic devices.

Slashdot
