Been out plenty and showing the Rugby lads how we get on it back at home, still discovering new quality pubs. Not made it to the beach yet, closest was about 300 meters but we went to a top Sunday pub for the day instead (The Clovelly Hotel). I could see the sea from the terrace though so that counts…
There is another pub (Coogee Bay Hotel) just down the coast on the beach that I need to spend the day at but it is winter here so there is no rush.
Aaron has been over for a fortnight recently so again he has given us a good tour of town darkest secrets. Week before last he played 5th grade so I played too to get a game in together then we hitched a ride across town so I could play again in the 1st team. Pics below/attached… I think this is what they call open running rugby weather and I was like a pig in muck!
Note how in the morning game Aaron the Winger is spotless compared to me the flanker!
Oh broke the line and ran 50 meters to score a try in that game too!
